Architects construct the world we live in. Just look around you. The houses, apartments, skyscrapers, schools, bridges, and airports are all designed by architects. They not only design a building’s appearance, but they ensure its safety, strength, and usability. Today, most architects use computers and other technology to create their designs. To become an architect, you need a degree in architecture, then you’ll need to complete an internship and pass a licensure exam. Most architects work for small architecture firms, and many are self-employed.
