Conservation Scientist

Career categories: ,

Conservation Scientists manage and protect our natural resources from man-made threats like pollution, construction, and overuse. Government agencies will consult a conservation scientist before beginning a new project to ensure that it will not have a negative impact on the land, wildlife, and environment. They also advise farmers and ranchers on how they can improve their land for growing crops and control erosion. The typical requirement for this “green” career is a bachelor’s degree in forestry, agricultural science, or environmental science.
